Panther swimmers qualify for state

SALINA —Great Bend's girls qualified Clarise Snapp in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay in Thursday's Salina Invitational for the 5-1A state swimming meet May 23-24 at Topeka.

The Panthers qualified in the 200-yard relay (1:50.47) with Meredith Mazouch, Clarise Snapp, Darcy Feist, Josephine Mazouch; the 200 medley relay (2.07.81) with Meredith Mazouch

Clarise Snapp, Emma Snapp, Josephine Mazouch and the 400 freestyle relay (4:13.84) with Josephine Mazouch, Braylee Carper, Darcy Feist, Meredith Mazouch. 

Runner-up Clarise Snapp (1:17.17) qualified for state in the 100 breaststroke.

Meredith Mazouch finished runner-up in the 50 freestyle ( 27.19).
