SALINA – Great Bend Quicksilver softball rolled past the Outlaws 10-0 and the Minneapolis Lions 9-3 at the IFA state softball tournament Saturday. Quicksilver will play at noon Sunday in the winner's bracket.

QUICKSILVER 10, OUTLAWS 0 – Pitcher Alyssa McCauley threw a two-hit shutout to spark Quicksilver. 

Briley Richter's double scored Katherine Mazouch and Kya Behr in a three-run first inning. Richter scored on an error.

Behr's double scored Kamryn Koelsch to spark a four-run third inning. Behr scored on an error. McCauley singled home Richter and Josie Blevins singled home Camdyn Post for a 7-0 lead. Katherine Mazouch and Koelsch scored on a fourth-inning error. Denver Ringo's single scored Behr for the run-rule victory.

QUICKSILVER 9, MINNEAPOLIS 3 – Kya Behr led the heavy hitting with a double and triple. Ringo and McCauley each drove home two runs. Ringo singled home Behr and Richter in a two-run first inning. Post scored on McCauley's second-inning groundout for a 3-1 lead.

A six-run third inning put the game on ice. Behr tripled home Koelsch. Richter singled in Behr. Ringo scored on McCauley's groundout. Oakley W. singled home Behr and McCauley. Koelsch's single scored Post for a 9-3 final.
