SPEARVILLE — Spearville's Aydin Ruiz and Austin Ruiz combined for 17 strikeouts in a no-hitter and the Royals Lancers completed a 4-0 and 10-4 baseball sweep over Kinsley/Macksville.

SPEARVILLE 4, KINSLEY 0 (G1) — Spearville reliever Austin Ruiz pitched four innings with nine strikeouts after Aydin Ruiz had eight strikeouts in nine outs. 

Kinsley's Diego Esparza, Joshua Stuckey grounded out. Woodrow Lancaster popped out.  Devin Murrow was picked off base to end the game. 

Kaleb Konrade doubled home Aydin Ruiz and Danny Alcala. Austin Ruiz stole third base and scored on a passed ball. Aydin Ruiz scored on a double steal with Layson Wheaton.

SPEARVILLE 10, KINSLEY 4 (G1) — Kinsley's Kendall Grippin drove in two runs and Trenton Anderson and Anthony Meza added RBI. Anderson singled in Stuckey in the first inning. Grippin's third-inning single scored Lancaster. Esparza scored on a Grippin fly ball and Meza singled home Meza in a 2-run seventh.

Spearville's Konrade drove home three runs. Alcala drove in two runs. Aydin Ruiz, Austin Ruiz, Ian Melendez, Cooper Thompson drove in runs.
