ST. JOHN — Returning Central Prairie League volleyball runner-up St. John outlasted Kingman 25-23 25-12 and downed Sterling 25-13, 25-14 Monday in non-league matches.

The Tigers showed offensive balance against Sterling with Makinley Sanders and freshman Kendall Bonner leading the way with winners.

Other contributing with winners were Lillian Brummer, Carlee Riegel, Jalyn Fisher Gentri Bright.

Strong serving was supplied by Fisher, Sanders and Bright. Reigel and Bonner hit the game-winning points against Sterling.
