The Great Bend Chamber coffee this week was held at Wheatland Electric Cooperative, Inc. The greeters were Melissa Dole with Buchanan and Associates, American Family Insurance and Sonia Ryan with Edward Jones, Kris Sundahl. Next Wednesday, April 22, Wheatland’s annual meeting will take place at the Great Bend Event Center with registration starting at 11 a.m.

They look forward to celebrating the past year and sharing what’s ahead in the future. There will be updates on reliability, financial health, and programs and services. The trustee election results will be heard. More information on a bylaw that they are proposing will also be heard at the meeting. There will be a lunch provided and over 50 door prizes for attendees to have a chance to win.

On June 3, they will be having a Chamber After Hours in partnership with the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce at Dry Lake Brewing where they will be celebrating the United States’ 250th birthday.

On July 15, they are hosting the Great Bend Back Cats at Albert’s Memorial Field.
