GREENSBURG — Pawnee Heights Tiger Abby Hands qualified for state track in two events and Addy Pelton is a 2-event qualifier in the 1A Greensburg track and field regional.

Hands qualified in the shot put (37-3) with a season-best throw and discus (112-4). Addy Pelton tied her best high jump (5-0) and triple jump (34-31/2) to qualify.

BOYS DIVISION —Chase's Malik Carson is a 3-event state qualifier in the long jump (22-03/4), 100 meters (10.88) and 200 meters (22.55).

St. John earned a trio of qualifiers. Braxton Alpers qualified in the triple jump (43-71/2). Jericho Mawhirter placed third in the 100 meters (11.0) with a season-best time. The runner-up 400-meter relay (44.89) featured Alpers, Mawhirter, Jace Reyes and Kaden Foote.

Stafford's Joel Valadez is a double qualifier in the 1,600 meters (4:47.81) and 3,200 meters (10:28.07).
