Mark Alan DeWald, 72, passed away Nov. 19, 2025, in Great Bend, Kan. He was born on Oct. 12, 1953 to Harlan and Delores (Popp) DeWald. He was married to Enid “E.J.” DeWald, and have children, Jessica Riebel and Johnathan DeWald. 

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at First Lutheran Church, LaCrosse, with Reverend Phyllis Burdge and Chase Riebel. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, with family receiving guests from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. all at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to First Lutheran Church or your choice of the Great Bend, Hoisington or Claflin Band Program, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
