KINSLEY — Rebecca Irene Oberley, 44, passed away on Nov. 14, 2025. She was born Aug. 1, 1981 in Stafford, Kan. to Edwyn Hook and Pamela (Burgey) Nafzinger. She grew up in Hutchinson and attended school there.

She married Andrew Horniman in 2000. They divorced in 2014.

She married Luke Oberley on July 1, 2023. She loved music, movies (especially horror movies), interacting with her co-workers, and living life to the fullest. She was a loving wife, a caring mother, and a devoted grandmother.

Her father preceded her in death in 2017. She is survived by her husband; her mother and stepfather, David and Pamela Nafzinger, Hutchinson; a brother, Edwyn (Catherine) Hook, Hutchinson, Kan.; Christina (David) Young, Stafford, Kan.; four biological children, Cassiydy (Jacob) Rodriguez, Strawn, Texas, Aliyson Horniman, Great Bend, Kan., Saphira Horniman, Kinsley, Kan., and Jacobb Horniman, Glenwood, Iowa; four stepchildren, Laura Oberley, Wichita, Kan., James Oberley, Wichita, Kan., Olivia Oberley, Puyallup, Wash., Liam Oberley, Providence R.I.; and three grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, Kan. at 11 a.m. on Nov. 22.
