Tammy Louise Payne, 61, passed away June 15, 2021, in Hitchcock, Okla. She was born on June 30, 1959, in Great Bend, to Barbara Ellis and Walter Kuhl. She lived the majority of her life in Great Bend, where she was a head dietary supervisor at both CKMC and Great Bend Regional Hospital. Tammy married Jack Payne on Dec. 23, 1982, in Great Bend, and together they raised Jacklyn Dougherty and Susan Payne.

Graveside inurnment will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials have been designated to the Tammy Payne Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
