NORWICH — Stafford Trojan Joel Valadez earned runner-up finishes in the 1,600 meters (5:07.94) and 3,200 meters (11:48.26) at Thursday's Heart of the Plains track and field meet.

Trojan Mason Miller placed runner-up in the shot put (43-4).

Emeree Nobles placed second in the shot put (35-41/4).
