The Ellinwood School/Community Library is excited to welcome two Teacher Assistants to the library team this school year. Madison Dombroski, a senior, returns for her second year, while Lexi Thomas, a junior, joins the library for the first time.
Madison was drawn to working at the library because of her love of reading and the welcoming atmosphere the library provides. This year, Madison will take on the important task of inventorying the conference room. She is looking forward to documenting the history and contents of the room so that the information can be preserved for years to come.
Madison is very active at school, participating in both clubs and sports. We are delighted to have her back at the library for another school year. When she has time to sit down with a good book, Madison enjoys romance and mystery novels. Her favorite author is Lynn Painter.
Joining Madison this year is junior Lexi Thomas. This is Lexi’s first year as a Teacher Assistant, and she was drawn to the position because of the many different things she can learn about the library and all that it has to offer the school and community. Lexi’s primary responsibility this year will be putting together the weekly Senior Spotlight, giving the community an opportunity to learn more about the senior students at the Ellinwood High School.
Lexi is very involved in school clubs and sports. When she has downtime, she enjoys reading books by Colleen Hoover, as well as The Hunger Games series and the Sisters Grimm series.
We are excited to have both Madison and Lexi assisting at the Ellinwood School/Community Library this school year. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to help will be a wonderful addition to the library, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish throughout the year.
Ellinwood Chamber Coffee Coming
As a friendly reminder, the Ellinwood School/Community Library will host the Ellinwood Chamber Coffee on Friday, Sept. 11th, at 10 a.m.
During the morning, we will have the opportunity to showcase the school district’s newest staff members, while enjoying coffee and refreshments with members of our community.
Everyone is welcome to join us at the Ellinwood School/Community Library for this special morning. We hope to see you there.
