CLAFLIN — Joseph ‘Joe’ Alan Bieberle, 62, passed away June 25, 2026, in his home in Claflin, Kan. He was born May 5, 1964, in Great Bend to Omer and Mary Ann (Maier) Bieberle.
Joe, a 25-year resident of Claflin moving from Bushton, was a faithful employee of Rice Engineering and T and C Manufacturing, serving as a machinist. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Council #1187, and enjoyed watching Pro wrestling, NCAA basketball, 80’s rock music, and was known to play a mean game of pitch. Most of all, he cherished family time, especially under the skies during the Fourth of July.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Bieberle; sons, Alan Bieberle and wife Aleiya of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jason Bieberle of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Alexa Bieberle and Eden Zagal; two sisters, Connie Weber and her husband Tim of Bushton, and Karen Riggs of Bushton; brother, Jerry Bieberle and his wife Audria of Bushton; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Bieberle; and two brothers-in-law, Terry Musil and Doug Riggs.
A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2026, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Bushton, with graveside services following at 11 a.m., at Holy Name Cemetery with Father Nicholas Samsel presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Joseph Alan Bieberle Memorial Fund, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, 415 North Main, Hoisington, KS 67544.
