Betting has never been one of my strong suits. Fortunately, I learned of my inability to pick the winner early on in life before developing another bad habit.

Two weeks ago, I spent $10 on a Powerball ticket, hoping to pick up a quick $100 million. I got two numbers out of the 30 possible – and they were on different lines. This past Sunday, again feeling like I was about to become rich, I spent another $10. This time, the Powerball gods rewarded me with one of the 30 numbers. 

Pretty disappointing.
