LINDSBORG — Hoisington's Marley Bittel won the 100 meters (12.37) and 200 meters (26.08) and Layton Hoffman swept the discus (153-111/4) and shot put (48-10) at Friday's Smoky Valley Track Invitational. Bittel also placed runner-up in the 400 meters (1:05.04).

Taylen Morales won the boys pole vault for the second consecutive meet.

Other runner-up medalists were C.J. Bryant (triple jump, 42-21/4), Joseph Hekele (pole vault, 12-9), Brody Pfannenstiel (discus, 144-8), Brody Rossman (3,200; 10:35.45), Keslynn Adee (high jump, 5-0) and Laeya Beck (javelin, 115-2).

Kinley Wilkens placed third in the 800 (2:34.99) and triple jump (32-10).

The Cardinal boys and girls both finished fourth.
