HOISINGTON (10-0) at SE SALINE (11-0) — Ever since Hoisington Division 1 recruit Brody Pfannenstiel transferred from Russell, the Cardinals and No. 1 ranked Trojans have been on a semifinal 2A collision course. The Trojans are riding a 24-game winning streak.
The 6-4, 220-pound Pfannenstiel has emerged as the Cardinals' X factor, imposing his presence offensively and defensively. Pfannenstiel shifts defensively, creating a challenge for opposing blockers.
