ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood all-state volleyball standout Kyndal Moore has signed her national letter to compete at Emporia State University.
Moore led the Eagles to a perfect 47-0 and a 2A state volleyball championship. The four-year starter is one of the most decorated athletes in program history who played a pivotal role in elevating Ellinwood volleyball to statewide prominence.
She will start her collegiate journey in January at Emporia after graduating in December.
“My journey with Ellinwood volleyball has been truly amazing and memorable," Moore said. "The long hours spent with my teammates and coaches will be something that I will never forget. I'm excited to start my new journey in January at Emporia State. With my knowledge and experience that I built during high school, and the new opportunities and knowledge I will gain at ESU, my love for the game will grow even stronger."
Her senior-season statistics further underscore her impact — 300 winners, .400 hitting percentage, and 71 blocks. Over her four-year career, she ranks fourth all-time with 905 winners along with 197 blocks and 411 assists.
She carries a legacy of excellence, work ethic, and championship-caliber experience.
“I am extremely proud of the growth I have seen in Kyndal over the last four years," said Ellinwood coach Greg Maxwell. "She has developed into a phenomenal impact player and will continue with that mindset at the next level. In her senior year, she embraced what leadership looks like. She was a major factor in leading our team to an undefeated state championship. I'm proud of what she's accomplished and can’t wait to see what she has waiting for her in the future.”
