SALINA — Ellinwood's all-stater Julia Schlessiger scored 12 points with seven rebounds for the losing Gold team in a 75-70 loss to the Blue in Saturday's KBCA All-Star girls basketball game.
Schlessiger averaged 13 points and eight rebounds for 2A state runner-up Ellinwood. Schlessiger has signed to play basketball at Friends University after being honored as a 2026 Kansas Governor's Scholar.
Rossville's Rylee Dick (14), Clifton-Clyde's Sevy Wurtz (10), Spring Hill's Isla Herman (10) and Blue Valley Northwest's Reagan Becker (10) scored in double figures for the Blue team.
Troy's Harper Whetstine (18) and Hays High's Zoe Winter (11) scored in double figures for the Gold team.
