The farmers and ranchers of the state’s leading agriculture advocacy organization announced on Monday their endorsements of incumbent Rep. Tracey Mann in Kansas’ 1st District.
The formal endorsement came from Kansas Farm Bureau’s (KFB) political action committee, Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF), comprised of active farmer/rancher members elected by their peers from each of KFB’s 10 geographic districts.
The KFB VOTE FBF endorsement process began earlier this year with individual recommendations from the autonomous county Farm Bureau organizations. The 60 counties in the 1st U.S. House District provided district-level feedback that factored into VOTE FBF’s endorsement.
“Rep. Tracey Mann continues to represent agriculture and the Big First with distinction,” Glenn Brunkow, president of KFB, says. “Rep. Mann’s continued outreach and willingness to listen to constituents earned him strong support in VOTE FBF’s grassroots endorsement process.”
