MOUNDRIDGE — Ellinwood's baseball team rolled to a 14-3 victory over Moundridge before losing the nightcap 12-8.

Moundridge is 10-7 and the Eagles are 6-10 heading to Thursday's games against Kinsley (10-4).

ELLINWOOD 14, MOUNDRIDGE 3 (G1) — Ellinwood's Cohen Gunn drove in four runs with three hits and two runs scored. The Eagles soared to a 14-0 lead. 

Drake Hosman drove home two runs. Campbell Colenan, Banks Jacobs, Cooper Gunn, Shea Hoskins and Cade Coleman also drove in runs.

MOUNDRIDGE 12, ELLINWOOD 8 (GW) — Moundridge outscored the Eagles 12-3 after trailing 5-0 after 11/2 innings thanks to nine walks and a trio of errors that led to four unearned runs. 

Ellinwood's Cohen Gunn, Hosman and Campbell Coleman each drove in two runs. Cooper Gunn added an RBI.

Moundridge's Clay Wilson and Lane Durst each drove home three runs. Logan Greenwalt and Josh Koehn each drove in two runs.
