LINCOLN — The combined baseball forces of Sylvan Grove/Lucas Luray and Lincoln powered past Kinsley/Macksville 13-3 and 15-0 in Thursday's doubleheader.

Sylvan (6-8) drops Kinsley to 2-10.

SYLVAN 13, KINSLEY 3 (G1) — Kinsley's Joshua Stuckey scores a first-inning run on Woodrow Lancaster's groundout.

Stuckey and Lancaster scored on a third-inning error.

Sylvan's Cody Charvat drove home four runs with a trio of doubles.

SYLVAN 15, KINSLEY 0 (G1) — Sylvan's Cody Charvat struck out six batters with a 3-hit shutout. Joey Marquez and Ty Clawson doubled and Lancaster singled.

Sylvan's Brody Shearer and Caleb Maier each drove home three runs.

Kinsley walked seven batters and yielded eight unearned runs on seven errors.
