Dogs and their humans came to Brit Spaugh Park on Saturday afternoon, April 12, for the PAWsome egg hunt. An area near the dog park was divided into two sections, for large and small dogs, and covered with plastic eggs. There were treats inside the eggs and some of them contained winning tickets that could be redeemed for pet toys and other prizes. Admission was charged and proceeds will fund improvements at the dog park. The event was sponsored by the Great Bend Rec Commission, which also sponsored the Flashlight Egg Hunt that evening at the Sports Complex.
