Adventist School presents 'The Great Controversy'
7th day adventist Great Controversy
The Seventh-day Adventist School will present a seasonal drama, “The Great Controversy.” The public is invited to attend this program on Saturday morning.

“The Great Controversy,” a seasonal drama, will be presented at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1 mile west of 10th and Patton. The script was written by Deborah Wasmer, and directed by Mrs. Sherry Larson, teacher at the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church School.

The drama begins with a dialogue between Lucifer and angels in heaven. It focuses on following Lucifer (Satan) or remaining true to God. The scene of the fall in the Garden of Eden continues until the final culmination of the birth of baby Jesus, who conquers all evil.

The music, directed by Mrs. Doris Reile-Kneller, includes favorites such as “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace,” “Open the Eyes of my Heart,” “I’d Rather Have Jesus,” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.” The students will use the tone bells and then sing with the congregation the favorite carol, “Silent Night.”

The public is invited to come and enjoy this inspirational presentation by the students of the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist School and friends.
