Rural Water District No. 2 announced that water line construction is scheduled to begin Monday, July 21 along NE 10 Avenue between NE 30 and 40 Road, and Walnut Creek Circle north of NE 30 Road in rural Barton County. 

NE 10 Avenue and Walnut Creek Circle will remain open during the duration of the project, but minimal interruptions in traffic should be expected. Motorists are reminded to please stay alert and exercise caution when driving in the area. 

The construction is expected to last approximately two months and is necessary to improve the water supply for the rural water district.
