ELLINWOOD — The Eagle Backerz group invites the public to become a vital part of the Ellinwood community by contributing donations for the upcoming school year.

Since its inception, the Eagle Backerz have been committed to providing both financial assistance and volunteer support to various student activities, including all athletic groups, music, and band programs, and more, said President Jamie Rowan. The organization plays a vital role in ensuring that students have the resources and support they need to succeed, whether it’s feeding teams that travel long distances or assisting with meals for groups attending regional or state competitions.

Notably, the Eagle Backerz have proudly awarded $11,000 in scholarships to students pursuing higher education after high school.

“We believe that your support matters and that even small contributions from everyone can lead to a significant impact,” Rowan said. “With your help, we aim to continue our mission and make a difference in the lives of our local youth.”

As the Eagle Backerz embark on their sixth year, they continue to invite community members to join their efforts in supporting the youth of Ellinwood. “By donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, you can help shape a brighter future for Ellinwood High School students,” Rowan said.
