Members of Great Bend High School’s El Sol Latina folk dance group perform for Park Elementary School students Thursday afternoon. They will be performing throughout the day on Saturday during Great Bend’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration, going on downtown from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 El Sol changed its name to El Sol Latina to reflect the fact that members aren’t just from Mexico. Sponsor Cristina Montes said they also hail from Venezuela. 


This year, the girls have new costumes.
