The University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend campus, welcomes Sergio Jr. on Jan. 3 at 2:40 p.m. to parents Ashley Juergensen and Sergio Ramirez. The first baby of 2025 at the hospital, Sergio Jr. weighed in at 7 pounds and 13 ounces. He’s 20.5 inches long.

UKHS announced the first arrivals at each of its four facilities, which also include Kansas City, Olathe and Liberty.

To celebrate these special arrivals, each family will receive a gift basket filled with baby items from the Chiefs, Royals, and KC Current, as well as a selection of University of Kansas Health System-branded items.
