K-State Choir students, under the direction of Dr. Joshua Oppenheimer, traveled to Great Bend for the first Sawin Arts Extension program of the year on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the GBHS Auditorium. They also heard from Dr. Bryan Pinkall, director of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Kansas State University. Choir students of Stephanie Goering, Ellinwood; Deb Lewis, Hoisington; and Susan Stambaugh, Great Bend, collaborated to gather for this opportunity. GBHS vocal music provided pizza for all students attending the event.
