The Annual Meeting of the Ellinwood Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. on March 9 at the Wolf Hotel, 1 N. Main. There will be a pot-luck dessert bar with coffee and tea served.
A short business meeting with a recap of the Society’s activities in 2025 will be followed by a presentation. This year’s speaker will be Cori Sherman-North, curator of the Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery in Lindsborg and president of the Kansas Museum Association. She will be speaking on the significance of small museums in rural communities. She will also discuss the Kansas Museum Association and the organization’s importance to the museum community in Kansas. The meeting is open to the public and guests are encouraged.
