LARNED — Starting Thursday, August 28, the bus stop at the former Hillside School (502 W. 5th St.) will no longer be in service at the request of the property’s new owner.

Students on Routes 16, 21, and 31 will now use the new stop at Grace Lutheran Church, on the north side along 6th Street (6th & Carroll).

Staff at Fort Larned USD 495 stated, “We’re very thankful to Grace Lutheran Church for allowing us to use their space as a stop for our students. We know any change in routine can cause a little confusion, and we want you to know we’re right there with you. More than anything, the safety of our kids comes first.”
