Sister Belanger to celebrate retirement at Heartland Farm

Heartland Farm’s long-time director and face of the Farm, Sr. Jane Belanger, and is being honored with a come-and-go celebration from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Heartland Farm Pavilion with a special recognition at 3 p.m.

Sr. Jane isn’t leaving the Farm; she plans to stay to volunteer, so if you aren’t able to attend, she would appreciate receiving a card at the Farm’s address: 1049 CR 390, Pawnee Rock, KS 67567.

Heartland Farm is an easy 13 miles west of Great Bend. From the four-way stop at 10th and Patton (where U.S. 56 turns south), drive westward for 13 miles on W Barton County Road. When the pavement ends, continue west for another mile. Turn left at CR 390 (look for Heartland Farm sign) and continue for 1/2 mile. Heartland Farm will be the first driveway on the right side.
