The polling place for the Second Ward in Great Bend is open until 7 p.m.

If you are a registered voter in Ward 2, the primary for the city council race is today, Aug. 5. Vote at the Prince of Peace Parish Center, 4100 Broadway Ave.

Candidates are Stephen Patton, Jay Luerman, Charlie Dixon and Suresh Maharjan. The top two in today’s primary will be on the ballot in the Nov 4 general election.
