HAVEN — Haven's pitching dominated Hoisington 7-2 and 11-0 to sweep Tuesday's Central Kansas League doubleheader.

Haven (10-5, 6-5 CKL) dropped the Cardinals to 5-9, 3-7 CKL.

HAVEN 7, CARDINALS 2 (G1) — Hoisington's Drake Martin singled home Branson Barnard for the Cardinals' lone RBI. Reese Galla scored on a double steal.

Second baseman Reece Galla and shortstop Brodie Crites turned a double play.

Haven's Aiden Herald drove in the Wildcats' lone run on a base hit. The Wildcats scored six unearned runs on six Cardinal errors. The Wildcats scored on a wild pitch, a passed ball and on a double play.

HAVEN 11, CARDINALS 0 (G2) — Haven's Brogan Wray and Wyatt Bontrager combined for a 1-hit shutout with eight strikeouts.

Haven was one out away from a no-hitter when Cardinal Brodie Crites singled off Bontrager.

Haven's Korbin Graham doubled and drove home three runs. Wray tripled and drove home two runs.
