Hoisington’s Forensics Team spent March 29th in Halstead for the Central Kansas League Tournament. The team scored 18 entries, earning fourth place in the Sweepstakes at the tournament. Individual results are: Jessica Lovett, second place in Serious Solo Acting and second place in Informative Speech; Steven Demel, second place in Poetry; Baylie Fyler, fifth place in Prose and third place in poetry; Calli Brown, sixth place in Poetry; Brayden Stevenson, fifth place in Extemporaneous Speech and third in Impromptu Speech; and Vada Kaiser, fifth place in Humorous Solo Acting. Also competing for the Cardinals were Melody Braddy, AJ Thurman, Jaidyn Stevenson, Alexis Orosco and Bodie Selfridge.
