KDOT approves K-4 bridge in Rice County

The Kansas Department of Transportation announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Sept. 17 in Topeka. 

Local work will be in Rice County on K‑4. Bridge #021 over Plum Creek, located 6.26 miles east of the Barton County line, will be replaced by King Construction Company Inc. & Subsidiaries in Hesston. The bid was $2,480,181.87.
