Sewer cleaning continues at 10th and Main

Great Bend’s City crews are continuing to clean the storm sewers along 10th Street and Main Street, a project that began on May 17. Starting at approximately 6 a.m. each morning, crews work diligently to maintain these vital infrastructure lines along these busy streets.

“We urge drivers to exercise caution and be attentive when driving in these areas, especially during the early morning hours,” a news release states. “Fast-moving vehicles have posed a significant challenge to our staff’s safety. To help alert drivers, crews will have signage and an arrow board in place as advanced warnings.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and cooperation.”
