LARNED — Central Kansas League co-champion Pratt scored 32 runs to sweep Larned 17-9 and 15-1 in Tuesday's games.

Pratt (18-6, 15-1 CKL) ties Haven for the league title. Larned (10-16, 3-13 CKL) is projected to play McPherson (19-7) in next week's 4A softball regional.

PRATT 17, LARNED 9 (G1) — Larned played its finest six innings of the season when Pratt scored five runs for a hard-fought 17-9 victory.

Larned's Eowyn Hedding (.446) homered and drove in two runs with two hits. Jadyn Crosby (.471) drove in two runs. Gillian Smith drove in a run.

Pratt's Claire Jack and Savannah Copus drove in three runs against Larned's Crosby (7-10).

Pratt and Larned played defense like the Bad News Bears combining for 16 errors that led to 22 unearned runs. Larned permitted three earned runs and Pratt one earned run.

PRATT 18, LARNED 2 (G2) — Pratt roughed up Larned starter Brileigh Stahlecker for 18 runs, just five earned.

Larned's Brooke Simmons scored on an error and Jillian Hagerman singled home Kendra Marvin for a 2-0 lead.

Pratt's Jack homered and drove home six runs with four hits. Rylee Miller drove in three runs.
