Made in America 250 - Alliance Brass will perform for the Golden Belt Community Concert Association at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium.

The Golden Belt Community Concert Association opens the 2026-2027 concert season by hosting Made in America - Alliance Brass at 7 p.m. Sept. 20, at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium, Lakin and Stone. The show is a celebration of 250 years of American music.

Made in America covers a variety of styles and selections from American folk songs, orchestra music, popular songs and marches. Program highlights include “America the Beautiful,” “Bugler’s Holiday,” songs from “Rodeo,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “God Bless America” and many others. Alliance Brass has been acclaimed as “the perfect blend of virtuosity and vitality” by the Chicago Brass Festival.

GBCCA concerts are open to association members. No single tickets are available. Because the association encourages young people’s interest in music and the performing arts, full-time students are admitted to the concerts for a $5 donation at the door.

The Golden Belt Community Concert Association and the Great Bend Recreation Commission provide eight handicap parking spaces in front of the northeast entrance of the auditorium for every concert.
