SALINE COUNTY — The Saline County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Tuesday, June 4, Jeremy Dannebohm, also known as J. Basil Dannebohm, was arrested for Mistreatment of Dependent Adult. Bail was set at $10,000, which was posted and Dannebohm was released the same day. 

A preliminary hearing in Saline County Court is scheduled for July 23.

Dannebohm was elected to the Kansas legislature as Representative for Dist. 113 in November, 2014. He served for 42 days before resigning in March, 2015, citing complications from Parkinson’s disease. He later relocated to Pawnee Rock, and in 2015 organized two events to raise money for Parkinson’s disease awareness: the “Concert on the Rock” outdoor concert at the Pawnee Rock monument in September, 2015 and the Emerald Ball at Fort Hays State University in November, 2015.
